Our retail store located at 232 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02116
In 1993, I was a watch hobbyist before founding European Watch Company. I was a computer scientist and engineer by trade, but I turned my passion for watches into a new and different career by opening this business, originally beginning with only a modest selection of Swiss watches. As time went on, emphasizing service, and competitive pricing, the company grew and our clients around the world eagerly recommended European Watch Company.
Today we are one of the finest full-service watch retailers in the United States. We purchase, sell, and trade only the highest quality timepieces, maintaining an impressive inventory of new, pre-owned, vintage, and contemporary watches. We don’t merely follow fashion, and we avoid overpriced and overly-hyped market watches, remaining devoted to classics from the finest, most prestigious manufacturers. We will never buy or sell timepieces that we do not approve of with the strictest personal requirements.
While browsing through our website you will find that the majority of our watches are pre-owned. In our Newbury Street showroom we maintain a full restoration and repair department meticulously testing, servicing, and if required, restoring timepieces. Our inventory comes from a variety of sources; some are from individuals who sell outright, some are from our dealer friends located across the world, while many come from first-time and repeat clients, availing themselves of our expertise in trading in their watches for something new. We welcome trade-ins of your current timepieces and we are acknowledged for offering the highest values. We proudly offer an exceptional online browsing experience with our easily accessible, navigable, and constantly updated website. Every watch on our site is in stock, ready for immediate shipment overnight from our premises. The photographs on our website are taken carefully and accurately, concentrating on the fully researched details of each timepiece. Unlike many other online retailers, every watch pictured is the actual example that we have in stock, never employing generic depictions or recycling our photographs. Our descriptions are carefully offered and straightforward, and we always welcome further inquiries.
Over the past 27 years, we have helped thousands of customers - many of whom have become friends - to find their preferred timepiece. It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve this clientele, and we enthusiastically look forward to helping even more of you to realize your passion for horology.
